Ticketing platform TodayTix announced it has surpassed $100 million in sales and has unveiled a new visual identity. An update to the app includes new features including the ability to book tickets up to 30 days ahead of time.
CEO and Co-Founder Merritt Baer tells Broadway News, “Our creative brand refresh extends on our promise to seamlessly connect the next generation culture lovers to theater. By offering theatergoers the ability to purchase tickets up to 30 days in advance, we can help bridge the needs of our theater partners, while providing best-in-class access for our growing base of almost 3 million users.”
Working with photographer Billy Kidd and celebrity actors including Darren Criss, Ariana DeBose, Eva Noblezada and Sophia Anne Caruso, TodayTix says the brand’s new photoshoot and creative assets “celebrate diversity and inclusion in theater.”
“Bonded by a deep appreciation of the arts, we set out to reintroduce theater to our fellow millennials. Our new visual identity, developed by some of the minds behind our generation’s’ beloved brands including Shake Shack, Sweetgreen, Warby Parker and Saturdays NYC, continues to push the envelope of creative expression,” added Co-Founder Brian Fenty. “Whether you’re interested in fashion, photography, movement or literature, culture lovers of all ages and interests now have even better access to what they love most – great shows at great prices.”
