“Head Over Heels” will open at the Hudson Theatre on July 26, 2018.

The musical, which features songs from The Go-Go’s, will feature Andrew Durand, Taylor Iman Jones, Jeremy Kushnier, Bonnie Milligan, Peppermint, Tom Alan Robbins, Alexandra Socha and Rachel York in the principal roles. Michael Mayer will direct the musical, which begins previews Sat. June 23.

“Head Over Heels” features well-known songs from The Go-Go’s, including “We Got the Beat,” “Vacation” and Belinda Carlisle’s solo song “Heaven is a Place on Earth.” Tom Kitt is serving as the music supervisor.

This will be The Go-Go’s first Broadway credit, as well as the first Broadway production credit for Gwyneth Paltrow.

In addition to Paltrow, Rick Ferrari, Donovan Leitch, Christine Russell, Louise Gund, Hunter Arnold, Tom Kirdahy and Jordan Roth are producers on the project.

The creative team includes choreography from Spencer Liff, an original book by Jeff Whitty and adapted by James Magruder, scenic and puppet design by Julian Crouch, costume design by Arianne Phillips, lighting design by Kevin Adams, sound design by Kai Harada and projection design by Andrew Lazarow.

Before it comes to Broadway, the musical will play at San Francisco’s Curran Theater from April 10 through May 6.

The musical’s ensemble features Sharon Catherine Brown, Yurel Echezarreta, Lisa Finegold, Brian Flores, Ari Groover, Tanya Haglund, Arica Jackson, Gregory Liles, Gavin Lodge, Samantha Pollino, Justin Prescott, Tanner Ray Wilson and Ricardo Zayas.
