Patrick Daly has been hired to oversee the theater production arm of EON Productions, the British production company which makes the James Bond films.

Daly has been a producer of stage to screen adaptations such as “Una,” based on the play “Blackbird” and a co-producer on the “August: Osage County,” and spent 12 years as vice president and producer at Jean Doumanian Productions.

EON Productions is headed by producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, who both have several Broadway producing credits.

“It is a thrill to be working closely with EON Productions to further grow what is already a hugely exciting slate of theatrical projects both in the U.K. and the U.S.  I look forward to working to bringing the current projects to the stage as well as seeking out further opportunities for us to explore,” Daly said in the press release.

Daly will independently remain the head of his own production company, Caledonia Productions, which develops projects for the stage and screen. He was previously an associate producer on the Broadway productions of “The Mountaintop” and “Superior Donuts.”

“We are incredibly lucky to now have Patrick on board to oversee our theater projects. He has a fantastic track record, great relationships throughout the industry, and – most importantly – impeccable taste in content,” Wilson and Broccoli said.
