The Broadway transfer of “Hadestown” will star the principal cast members from London.

The musical, written by Anaïs Mitchell, will star Reeve Carney, André De Shields, Amber Gray, Eva Noblezada and Patrick Page. The actors ended a run at the National Theatre in London on Saturday.

“Hadestown” will begin preview performances at the Walter Kerr Theatre on March 22, with an opening night set for April 17.

“I’m delighted to be continuing the journey with these artists, some of whom have been with the piece since the beginning. They bring a wild combination of experience, singular musicianship, and a shared joy in mining Anaïs’ poetry and politics,” said director Rachel Chavkin.

Gray and Page starred in the world premiere of the musical at New York Theatre Workshop in 2016.
